Planning ahead for a sustainable future.
“LO is the great little city it is today because past city leaders were forward thinking. We can’t predict every twist and turn of our future but there’s a lot we can anticipate and plan for.”

- Prioritize our schools and the safety and security of our neighborhoods. Continue to identify the pathways and intersections around schools to create safer ways to walk.
- Constantly maintain and improve our infrastructure so in the future we attract families and new businesses.
- Support our parks, the arts and recreational facilities. Our public sports fields and parks are mud holes in winter. Replace grass with turf on our fields so we increase usability.
- Salem oversteps with housing mandates. Let’s manage Salem’s orders to conform to Lake Oswego’s building standards. Planning will maintain LO neighborhood character.
- Future financial stability depends on managing taxpayer money for projects like the North Anchor, the south shore fire station, the sewer treatment facility, the new library.
- As a team of councilors we should be planning ahead, identifying impacts and solutions for things like population growth, increased car usage, new transportation technology.
“I’ve spent almost half of my adult life in this little city. I’m excited to commit to serving our community, where tax dollars spent add value to the city and strengthen it for the future.”
